Banister shopping
Banister? Staircase? Can these be bought? Or do they have to be custom built?
Cuz I need a new one.
When you walk in the front door, the ceiling in the entry way is 2 story. Look up, and you see the banister (isn't that what it's called?!) for the 2nd story. (The stair, and staircase, are to the left). The other day Carson (aka #5/5), decided he needed to hang a Nerf basketball hoop up there. So he treks up the stairs, to the middle of the banister (I *think* that's what it's called), grabs on and flips over to the other side, so he's got his feet on the 2nd story, between the rails, on the OUTSIDE of the banister. Well, it seems the 2 rails he decided to hold onto gave way, and down he came, landing on his back, with a rail still in each hand. He laid there and moaned for a while, then got up, and went & hung his hoop, this time staying on the other side (or what was left of it). So, seriously now, I've searched (on the net), and can't find anything. Guess I need to call a contractor?
