BBQ, Blues, and Brews

7-7-07 - sounds like a good day to spend in Reno, and we are! I Played Roulette last night for the 1st time and had a blast. Spent about 2 hours playing and when I quit was up $8. Fun! Put $20 in a penny machine and cashed out at $50; put $20 in a nickel machine and cashed out at $95. (I won't mention the other 4 or 5 machines I put a $20 in and got NOTHING.)

Today they have the streets in front of the casino blocked for the annual BBQ, Blues, and Brews Festival. All kinds of BBQ (chicken, ribs, pork, etc), live Blues Bands, and a ton of micro brewery booths with all kinds of micro brews! For $20 you get a beer mug and 10 tokens, and use the tokens at the different microbrew booths. It's supposed to be 103 here today, so cold beer will be nice!
